Run for Hope 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

April 27, 2013 – 5K 8am – 1Mile 9am

Lake Park – 17302 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Lutz, FL 33549

5K (chip timed) or 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk through beautiful LakePark. Lots of shade and a packed shelled road will make this race one to remember.

All proceeds benefit a little girl named Mattingly Hope. Mattie was born April 3, 2011, 9 weeks premature. Mattie defied all odds and was born 15 weeks after her mom’s water broke. At 3 weeks of age Mattie was diagnosed with a brain injury called PVL and at 8 months old was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Mattie can not sit, crawl, stand, or walk on her own. The only therapy that is working for her is not covered by insurance. All proceeds raised from this event will go directly to Mattie’s therapies and medical expenses. Hillsborough County Parks Department charges a fee of $2 per car, paid at park entrance.
